Q&A with our Machine Learning Intern, Ashna Sood

​Q: What do you enjoy most while working with Machine Learning and AI?

A: The vast potential of using Machine Learning to advance everyday tasks is what excites me the most about this growing field. I enjoy learning from other experts in the field and reading up on what they have accomplished and created and how we can expand upon that. I also am appreciative of the interdisciplinary applications in Machine Learning!

Q: What do you think your impact is while working at MotivateU?

A: I believe my impact at MU is to assist trainers by providing suggested feedback curated from an NLP machine learning model for each user based on their progress on their monthly workout goals and performance in class. It is gratifying to be working on a project that could ease and expedite the interactions and feedback between a user and a trainer by using Machine Learning techniques

Q: What's one thing you're most proud of while working on our product?

A: I am proud of the innovation and the potential that this product has to revolutionize the online fitness industry.
